I first heard DM in 1984 when \"People are people\" was blaring out of every radio in the nation. Being a punk rocker at the time, I really hated it (but I secretly liked \"Master and servant\", probably because of the kinky lyrics...). In 1990 I followed a friend to \"World Violation\" in Stockholm. I was completely blown away, and the week after I spent about USD 300 to get all DM records I could find. They are still my all time favourite band, but I\'m also an addicted collector of Curve, Lush, Stone Roses, Kraftwerk, Ladytron, Goldfrapp, My Bloody Valentine, The KLF and New Order to mention just a few. |
