Strange if they are incomplete, i havent seen the Leipzig setlist yet, are they both incomplete (Tel Aviv and also Leipzig)?
Could be interesting to know why they would do that.

LHN said that 20 tracks are correct on the page. So, no full tracklist only incomplete?
"A few minutes ago i saw that the recordings from the Tour of the Universe are containing only 20 songs (Tel Aviv and also Leipzig).
Is this correct or a website fault?
LHN's response (orders@sandbag.uk.com):
Hi,
Yes, this is correct.
Kind regards
Sandbag" |
That's odd. I wonder if all shows are going to be incomplete then.

I sent them an email about this... not sure how to read the reply and what it means.. I guess we know when we recieve the cd's.
--I'm more curious about the incomplete track list for these two show, seems like the last encore set is missing from your track list, is this
correct?
Hi,
Apologies - you will receive the full track listing.
Kind regards
Sandbag

from dm.com blog regarding the Berlin gig
--
Former label mates and old time friends of Depeche, Nitzer Ebb was in the house, which spawned an impromptu addition of a few lines from "Lightning
Man" being added to the lyrics of "Enjoy The Silence", making the LiveHereNow recording from this show an instant must-have! Dave also dedicated
"Never Let Me Down Again" to Doug and Bon.
--
I totally misssed this in Berlin - will be very nice to listen to it on CD!

We met Nitzer Ebb at the Olympia Stadium. They searched for the VIP entrance and asked us where it is.
My Turntable is still searching for PL12BONG39 1x12" 4tr w/l Testpressing

Turns out it wasn't part of Lightning Man after all - misheard Dave is all. But some lines were added. And the dedication to Bon and Douglas is still
nice.
This is an insight...

US i-tunes now has two live tracks from the Tel Aviv show included with the "Sounds Of The Universe" i-tunes pass:
In Sympathy (Live In Tel Aviv)
Walking In My Shoes (Live In Tel Aviv)
The pass ends on Tuesday (June 16th) so this is probably the last two downloads that will be included.
On a personal note, I still can't figure out why my credit card isn't being authorized by Live Here Now for the new concerts. I guess no one else
here has ever had this problem? I guess I'll figure it out, even if I have to turn the money into cash and put it into another account. Crazy.

Maybe that's why there's been a "delay" with posting the show for download. perhaps I-tunes had first dibs at posting the tracks.

I had the same problem! It rejected one of my credit cards, there was no reason why - the card was valid etc. I used my other credit card and
everything was fine.

Alexey,
unfortunately not - hope the Tel Aviv one will show up soon.
For the others it's too early as the gigs happened last week.

Don't if it has been posted before.
Here a pics a merchandising store at Berlin gig showing voucher for LHN.
This time it seems we won't have to collect voucher as it the same for all show. Youbuy one and you can order the live you want.

I feel In Sympathy sounds great live! Though Walking in My Shoes sounds just like every other live version they have preformed, but still a good
recording nevertheless.
Hopefully this means the Tel Aviv show will be posted soon.

I agree.
"In Sympathy" sounds fantastic live! The sound quality is amazing! The odd thing about the opening of the i-Tunes track is that it fades in with
Dave screaming, "Woo Hooo! Good Evening Tel Aviv!!!!," which he obviously didn't do before performing this song. I guess i-Tunes added this so there
was no doubt that the song was performed in Tel Aviv, but it's still very odd.
I envy you, Vlad, because you got to see "In Sympathy" performed live in person. Switching to "Policy Of Truth" for what appears to be the rest of
the tour is a mistake, in my opinion. Was an official statement ever given as to why this change was made?
As for "Walking In My Shoes," I agree with abspara. It sounds like the usual performance of the song. During the second verse, after singing "...and
before we talk of any repentance," Dave does not sing "Try Walking In My Shoes, Try Walking In My Shoes," and just lets the crowd sing it for him.
That's the only interesting thing I noticed that may have been slightly different.
