I is just replacing some plastic protection and Matrix is wrong (or just mixed) on Depmod on UK Release of 12 inch Variation 1: Now it is:Side A: a
porky prime cut Í mamba mode, Side B: a porky prime cut Í yes please they chirped

Hi,
my opinion:
pro: the matrix shows the bold characters as they were used for the very early Intercord discs.
con: I wondered about the generic label. I have a FAITH HEALER 12" with such a label from 1992.
So they used the same kind of generic label for more than 11 years?? Possible but unlikely?
If it is really genuine it is really a fantastic item!

I would say real item. As you say the matrix is absolutely the one of the commercial record.
And why should they change the generic label? It was "just" for promo - so the music was important, not the design. I was promoted by EMI several
years and they just had a big 1 and 2 on white labels and never changed that.
