No real reasons... just because it is the US edition...
You can check also the UK edition which is white for the orginal edition but the later one are also black like the US eidions:

Hello
Everything means to be exactly the same than other US edition of this CD I have
Catalog number is 9 46522-2
Matrix wea mfg X1619 1 46522-2 01 M1S23 (my other CD have M1S1)
So only CD lokss to be different. I think it can be a missprinted CD....

The first time I see this CD, for me is a missprinted (hope not, more difficult to find)
The only Ultra CD that I have with black letters is the Mexican one

So we need to start looking for this USA CD to know if it is a missprinted or just a re-release
